So i am sitting at my pakistani father in laws house on thanksgiving weekend looking for ways to fill my time. While i do enjoy having thanksgiving in this house every year, which is a new tradition my wife and i started 3 years ago, it can get a little awkward for a white guy in the midst of what feels mostly like being in a foreign country. I should add that i am normally the only, or one of maybe 2, white people out of the 20 plus brown ones that show up here every year for dinner. There are weird customs (the men eat first, which reminds me of a charles manson movie i saw years ago), strange sounding language (i learned last year its better if i just randomly laugh and occassionally nod or say something confident like "yes" while they are talking), and at least one distrusting woman in brightly colored clothing staring at me like i am going to try and marry her pakistani daughter when i am finished ruining the one i already stole from Dr Khan's daughter line-up. So while i was reading a friends blog about blogging, it got me wondering a few things...
1. Why do people blog in the first place?
2. What would i blog about?
3. Would anyone actually read this rambling nonsense?
Since i have no idea how this works yet i will end this blog being curious to see if i get any responses to these questions.

ReplyDeleteYou just answered your own questions
ReplyDeleteIn my first comment I spelled a word wrong, which is very hard for me to admit...in my second comment I corrected it...in my third comment (this one) I explained.
ReplyDeleteBut at least now you have 3
PS. I'd get rid of the word verification thingy when a person leaves a comment.
ReplyDeleteWell done Superfriend!
